What is Botox? What is Dysport? What is Xeomin? How are they different?

Botox, Xeomin and Dysport are used to treat and prevent wrinkles, fine lines, and deep facial furrows. By working beneath the surface, Botox, Xeomin and Dysport help reduce the underlying muscle activity that causes the skin to appear wrinkled or folded.

Dysport is very similar to Botox & Xeomin – same price, same duration, but kicks in a little quicker.

How many units will I need?

The number of units required will vary for each person based on the region being treated, your intended result, your lifestyle, and your daily habits.

When will I see results?

Anti-Wrinkle injections may begin to work in 2-4 days and peak results can take up to fourteen days.

How long do results last?

Results from Botox, Xeomin and Dysport are not permanent. Effects usually last about 3-4 months.

What Are The Possible Side Effects After My Anti-Wrinkle Treatments?

Small bumps may be visible around the injection site.
These typically last 15 minutes but no longer than a few hours.
Some swelling and bruising are possible but rare. Bruise cream is available in the office and can help reduce bruising.
The injections may cause headaches in some patients. Over-the-counter pain-relieving medications can be taken as needed.

What Should I Avoid After Getting Botox, Dysport, Or Xeomin Treatments?

For at least 24 hours, do not massage or apply pressure to the treatment area.
Do not exercise, shower, or use a sauna.
Patients should avoid facial massage, microdermabrasion, laser treatment, peel procedure, etc., for at least two weeks after injections.
Do not wear hats, headbands, or anything tight on your head for 24 hours if treatment was administered in the forehead or frown line area.
You may wash your face normally on the day of treatment, but don’t massage or use abrasive exfoliating or scrubs.
